The Hon. Dennis Lalor, O.J., was more than a visionary leader; he was a true nation-builder.

He created possibilities where others saw obstacles, strengthened systems, and helped open doors to tertiary education for countless young Jamaicans. Through his steadfast commitment, many dreams became reality, and thousands of graduates went on to contribute to Jamaica’s educated workforce.

His belief in service, education, and human development continues to guide UWIDEF as we support students, strengthen the University, and honour the legacy he entrusted to us.

We are profoundly grateful for his guidance, kindness, leadership, and strength.
